Dr. Brajendra Baser completed his residency training in otolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences New -Delhi. After completing his residency training he moved to Mumbai where he completed a fellowship in Head and Neck oncology at the Tata Memorial Hospital. Subsequently he joined the T.N.Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital as a Lecturer.

He completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic surgery from the Department of Plastic surgery University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1987.

In 1991 he was appointed as the Associate professor at the Seth G.S.Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital Mumbai affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

In 1998 he moved to his hometown in Indore where currently he is director of the ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery Center, Indore.

He is Professor & Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery at the Shri Aurbindo Medical College and  Honarary consultant surgeon at the Choithram Hospital and research center Indore.

He has popularized Rhinoplasty in India and has trained several young surgeons in the Art & Science of Rhinoplasty. He is conducting training courses for ENT/Plastic surgeons and Maxillofacial surgeons  Since 2000, and over 500 doctors has from all over the world have attended  his courses on Rhinoplasty

The Association of Otolarygologists of India gave him the prestigious Dr. R.A.F. Cooper Gold Medal & Award for his work on Nasal Tip Surgery in 1992. He is also the recipient of the Ranbaxy Award of the Rhinology society of India.

He was given the USA green-card under the category ‘extraordinary ability’ a rare accomplishment for a medical doctor but he chose to come back from the USA.

He was invited to be the guest editor of the Indian Journal of otolaryngology in 2004.
He published 2nd Edition of his book Aesthetic and Functional Rhinoplasty in 2005 ,which is read in over 20 countries

He was invited to deliver the Dr. W.G Atre oration by the Pune Branch AOI twice, Prof. Prem Kacker Asia Oceania oration by the AOI Hyderabad branch and the Dr. V.P. Sood Oration by the AOI Delhi branch.

Besides this he has delivered several guest orations in India and abroad in various National and International confrences
He was invited as a faculty at the 3rd Al –Nahda Rhinoplasty course Muscat,Oman  for demonstration of Rhinoplasty operations in Jan 2009.

In May 2009 He was awarded the prestigious Rashtriya Gaurav award for his contribution to medicine.

He is the founder secretary of the Indian Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.
His areas of special interest apart from Rhinoplasty are Skull Base surgery & Endoscopic sinus surgery.
